1880's pattern is called Star Chain and was completed using real South African indigo fabrics (gathered over 5 years :) in 2008		KTM's 1st quilt!  It has seen better days, like a decade of 4th of July celebrations! It was made with thin fabrics to start with and her youngest daughter tried to patch it up somewhat.	KTM's Flowers

KTM put a new backing & binding on it to hold it together as it's very fragile... used it on a small round table as a topper.
Quilted by my mother, supposedly.	This was KTM's youngest's 1st quilt who needed a bunch of help & direction from Mom.	One doesn't have to use a regular quilt rack for displaying a collection. Ladders work fantastically!
